Hi I’m Tze (aka Joan), the author of Awayofmind Bakery House!
I was born in Penang, Malaysia. I spent my university life in England. That was the time I started learning cooking. After graduated, I moved to Singapore, began my working life, get married and started to enjoy baking and cooking for my love one.
As there is need to search for fresh, healthy and delicious food to feed my son, my passion in the baking and cooking growth stronger. When I bake bread, I avoid chemical ingredients like bread improver, preservatives, sodium bicarbonate, etc. However, recently I have learned that grain can be really toxic when they are not properly prepared during manufacturing time too.
Presently I’m in Australia, a stay at home mum and trying to learn and familiarize myself with the new culture and environment. Hope you enjoy reading my blog!
